What a gem, the Kichi will fit perfectly in London which is where I’m from. Very friendly and warm welcome, the food goes very well with the beer, and the beer is great! Love the interior too, very cosy and comfortable, what a treat thank you!

Catching the last train back to tokyo after daytrip to Nikko. We stumbled across this cafe, and love the ambience. It was dusk, serene crow sound, empty road, cold in late autumn. And then there it is, Kichi coffee shop. Perfect cup of coffee (better than Arabica, to my preference), warm welcome from the couple, and close proximity to the train station. I hope they have halal food option. Regardless, i will come back for another cup of cappuccino.

5 stars for a reason, this place is a delight! We were headed elsewhere for a bite to eat but were drawn here instead as it looked like such a cool place made even better as they brew their own craft beers!! They have a wonderful range of beers, ranging IPAs to a Belgian tripple and all are expertly brewed, the lady servicing is also super friendly and helpful. As an added bonus she recommended we visit a local festival around a mile away where her husband was running their beer pop-up with other local street food venders. This sounded like something not to be missed and it made for a fantastic evening

A small family brewery in Nikko. The beer was amazingly tasty, and the food as well! The design of the eating space is beautiful, modern and calm. The service was 10/10 so polite, respectful and made me fell welcomed

Absolute gem!! • Had the beef plate: insanely tender, full of flavor, marinade was next level. • Rice? Perfect. Little salad on the side? Clean and fresh. • House-made IPA BEER !?!? Fruity, refreshing, layers of taste — they got other craft beers too, all fire. • Interior design? Straight-up vibes. • The couple running the place? Sweetest people ever. → Real talk: it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Easy 5 stars.

We loved this place. We went there twice and it was both times a delight. The owner was very welcoming, we had a couple of beers, brewed onsite, and had food (lunch and dinner). The food was amazingly good, fresh, homemade. The beer was amazing too. Also, our son took a yuzu soda, one of the best we had so far. We can only recommend this place !!!! Congrats to the owner and his wife !
